Levi's Birthday Weekend:

After months of planning, vocally, what he wants to do for his birthday, I sat down with him tonight to finalize the day.

Breakfast:  pancakes + lucky charms + chocolate milk + scrambled eggs

**Bike Race

Lunch:  Cougar Country

2:00:  Sweet Mutiny -- he gets to put as many toppings and as many scoops of frozen yogurt.

**Wii   **Trampoline

Dinner:  Chinese food + special fortune cookie

Leopard Cake

** Robin Hood with Popcorn.

I hope we all don't pop.

Spirit and Steel

We had our first fair this weekend:
The possibilities of metal stamping are endless!
I like my new hobby:

My little beauty

In my blogging absence Raya turned 3:

I don't know what I would do without my Raya!
I am completely selfish with her. --
Some things that I love:
She brings me tea everyday.
Much to Jeff's chagrin, she crawls into our bed around 3:00am every night.
She likes to moon people.
She writes notes and pictures and leaves them on pillows, under doors etc, as a thoughtful surprise.
She pronounces "Kitty" as "Chitty"
If someone is feeling sick she will get a blanket and pillow.  Most thoughtful person I know.
Has some outrageous dance moves.

I don't know what I would do without my Raya!
I don't know what I am going to do... she is three and getting so big.

Cray Cray

A common remark I get is "How do you do it?"  -- I am an active "stay at home" mom of 3.  ... I even get the impression that people think that I do too much.. or I don't let my kids "be kids" ?

How I do it: My kids don't watch TV.  I would rather take my kids swimming than sit them in front of the TV.  That's how I do it.  Mystery solved.

Sorry, I had to get that off my chest. I've had too many snide looks... for what?  Being active?? It's ridiculous.

Our Schedule for this semester:

M --
T -- 8:30-9:40 Levi and Raya swimming; 4:00 Seth Soccer
W -- 6:30 Seth violin
TH -- same at Tuesday
F-- 10:30 Science Center
S -- 10-11 Levi and Raya Soccer; Seth Soccer game.

Then we've been doing the trial hockey this last week... so once soccer is over hockey will take it's place.

Swimming

Amazing. (Are you surprised? Probably not)

Levi (Rivers) and Raya are doing amazing!

Levi is a Gator and Raya is a Turtle.
I love splashing around with these two cuties every Tuesday and Thursday:

If Levi keeps up his pace, he might be able to do Barracuda swim team this summer! (finger's crossed)

hockey

I Love Hockey!

and I'm glad Seth does too.

Imagine this: 5 incredibly cute, atheletic 6-7 aged boys + VW van + pizza + hockey.
I love having boys.
On the way to hockey practice they talked about girls, sports and super powers.
And played with playmobils.

The season goes until March though..  (!!)

yeah, that's right.

I think my kids friends are pretty lucky to have me as their friend's mom... I think I said that right.

Customized birthday shirt:  Sailing s/v "The Cheetah" and a  farewell memento: "Evan + Poppy: friends forever"

Whipped these two out when the kids were getting ready for bed. When did I get so fraking crafty?
Sorry BSG coming out... speaking of which.  Netflix calls!

Not laughing at Jeff.

Don't mind the header.

So today, Raya threw up in her hands, and waited patiently to show Jeff that she threw up.

Today, Seth and Levi chased a pig.

It's been a day of extremes.

This mini sized arena is a petting zoo... you put your kids in side with a dozen small animals and watch from the outside through the net...
I found it comically bizarre.

And Levi was practically sitting on Seth's lap the whole time.

Effortlessly good-looking:

Carmel Apples... every last drop.

The boys were so excited to "pig wrestle"

Pig catcher winners!

One of the funnest, quirkiest fall festivals.  I loved it.

gulp.

I'm so far behind, that I don't even know where to start. So I'll start today.
