You know you've been pregnant too long .... when you stern faced, declare to your husband that you'd rather have cancer than be pregnant again.

I have been MIA the last week because I've been sicker then I would probably admit to anyone ... but I went to the doctors today (oh the joys of weekly visits) and its official I have been prodded and probed in every nook and cranny! MY NASAL! I had a swab of my nasal cavity taken. like a 7 inch q-tip up your nose. I really was flabbergasted. I know I shouldn't have hostile feelings towards my physician, ... but .. well I do. Ok, not really, but maybe a little? I dont know how to describe it .. it's like I feel like they've violated me ... which I know they're completely not, but just being an object of scrutiny and undergoing such thorough examinations ... ahh... it makes me looney. I get this trapped sensation. Raya you better be worth it! k... kidding, I know she will be (do you like how much stream of consciousness I write when I'm frustrated? !!!) So the test was to see if I have swine flu (sorry I dont know the pc term) ... hopefully I dont, but whatever, I'm not really that concerned even if I do. It's the flu, and I'm not an idiot and have been taking care of myself ... I'm better than I was on Tuesday and I'm hoping that I can be 100% (well whatever that mean when you're 9 months pregnant) by Sunday. So no medication yet ... Also to anyone who might be concerned I may have contaminated them... I'm pretty sure I got sick at church last Sunday, and I haven't left the house until this afternoon for my 1 1/2 hour doctor appointment ... so yah. done, over and out.

You know you're too pregnant when .... you trap yourself in a public restroom stall.

So.. this post has nothing to do with pregnancy, but the title to this post did just happen to me; So.. I thought I'd share :) -- oh pregnancy, really, are there women who enjoy this experience? If so you're amazing. Ok .... : Summer 2009 Pacific Science Center: Levi is observing butterflies, my little naturalist. This was Seth's favorite exhibit, the space shuttle, he just loves space. Honestly what three year old will build a pretend planetarium and put on a "show?" My sister got married: Here's the boys in their matching outfits, can't you tell Levi loves Seth? Here's the boys trying to find Amanda "Fox"'s tail. I acquired a new sister-in-law. Here are the Ritter wives. I had a lot of fun photographing Rachel while she prepared herself for her wedding (make-up, putting on the dress, general chaos of prewedding preparations) Seth was the ring-barrier. He was adorable, naturally. His procession down to the rest of the bridal party took about 3 minutes ... which made him even more adorable. Spent time at the beach while over on the westside. ... I love tidepools. The boys also went the the zoo, but no pictures. So I like programs ... I like organized play ... and I've been wondering why this house-move, and this baby preparation has seemed so daunting ... then I remember I like to play too much. A common summer week in Pullman we would go to the pool (at least once) go to two library story times, and the additional summer activity (Our library is INCREDIBLE) Here's the finale, concert in the park ... I just love how Levi is posing. Jeff thinks this looks like blood: then go to the science center lesson on Friday .... and then the general playgroups and get togethers, concerts in the park, famer's market... there's so much. Nesting has been put on hold this summer, I just love Pullman -- but there are the occasional days: At least I have two helpers (they're wiping the legs of the dining room table). Also, I just had a babyshower, no pictures, but here's my bundle :) a big bag of girls clothes, flowers, pie, diapers and my baby announcements DONE! that's amazing. Thanks Annie and Karen :) Well, that really should have been like 6 posts, and I've had to skim out a lot of what we did this summer... but you get the gist. Jeff also needs to post about his new job (hint) ... 23 MORE DAYS UNTIL RAYA COMES! (hopefully)

A week of firsts

Seth had his first tball game this week ... can't you tell he's excited? He's so cute though. Seth repeatedly stated that he prefers soccer (and to tell you the truth I do too). Baseball parents are ultra competitive/nuts. The boys first tomato from our "garden" :) -- When we first moved into our new place, literally all Jeff did for the garden was overturn the sod, and then we planted (more like sprinkled seeds) in rows of: tomato, green onion, cucumbers, and carrots. -- Our carrots are the only thing that didn't come up. Our produce is fairly large considering we spent 20 minutes planting it. I'm excited to have a large garden next year :) Also, (no picture) Seth bore his first testimony in Church. ... so he gave his talk from the last Primary presentation (you know the one where he froze and picked his nose), but he was very cute ... "I can be like a wise man by being nice to my family and friends." And just because they're cute: We spent the morning splashing in puddles ... I'm enjoying the reprieve of heat! -- being 90 + isn't very condusive for a big 35 week prego.
